Welcome to our Smile Sarasota new patient page! We are happy you’ve chosen our dental practice to begin your journey towards a healthy and beautiful smile. We have conveniently provided all the information you need to know before coming in for your first appointment, such as the visit process and items to bring. Read below to know what to expect!  

Your First Visit

During your first visit, we will conduct a thorough, comprehensive examination, including necessary digital x-rays and an oral cancer evaluation, to help us make an accurate diagnosis of the condition of your oral health. Dr. Still will then discuss options for treatment and answer all your questions.

What To Bring

When you arrive for your first appointment, make sure to have the following items prepared beforehand in order to make your visit as quick and stress-free as possible:

  • A Valid Photo ID.
  • If you have had a recent, a full series of digital x-rays (16-20 films) that are current within two years at another dental office, please ask them to email them to our office:
  • Your dental insurance card and any other dental insurance information.
  • Your health and medication information. We will ask you to fill out several forms regarding this, which will be sent to you before your appointment. Alternatively, you can download and print out the forms by clicking the link below:

Appointment Confirmation & Cancellation

Once you’ve scheduled your first visit, we will either call you two business days prior to confirm, or you will receive an email or text generated by our automated reminder service. If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please let us know by phone 24 hours in advance.

Our Privacy Policy

Maintaining patient confidentiality is a priority for us, and our office is strictly HIPAA Compliant. We ask you to review the “Notice of Privacy Practices,” “Consent for Use and Disclosure of Health Information,” and the “Acknowledgement of Receipt of Notice of Privacy Practices” forms before your first visit.
